Carlos Jose Barroso is a long-time developer and  coder, and more recently has been leading small teams to success. Very passionate worker, has learned the last years the right balance between life and work.

Very decent musician, he plays guitar, piano and a lot of south-american wind instruments, along with some percussion instruments too.

Having met linux at 15 years old and with nobody there to teach, he becames an excelent self-learner, and when he feel ready and went to university, founded the first Linux Users Group in his city, borrowing his house to the first group meetings.

He knows several programming laguajes and paradigms, like C, Java, Prolog, LISP, Perl, and lastly is very inclined to python, using Django for web apps and QT4 for desktop apps.

The last two years he has been working for Starbene, building software to electronic medical aesthetics equipements under the norms and recomendatios of FDA and IEEE, and recently to export equipment to the European Union.

Natural leader and techer, his deep commitment with the work and perfectionism has given him great steem and confidence from his pairs and managers, allowing him to put his whole effort in his only objective: build the team that will develop the right software at the right costs.
